Our Speciality

Girme’s Organic Farms:
Unit at Anandnagar, Po. Akluj, District – Solapur, Maharashtra – 413101, INDIA, about 300 Kms south east of Mumbai, in a pollution free agricultural area having mostly sunny hot and dry climate all year round with moderate annual rainfall less than 762 mm (30 inches). Crystal clear alkaline ground spring well water is available for crop cultivation and washing.
Solar Tunnel Drying:
is used for dehydration of Wheatgrass, Moringa, Butterfly Pea flowers, etc. using solar energy under UV stabilised poly film house (without direct sunlight / mechanical dryer) at temperature less than 45oC. This natural indoor drying method helps reduce chances of aerial and microbial contamination, maintains maximum nutrients, color and aroma of original materials.
Wheat Grass Powder production process:
At our farms we grow the Wheatgrass on ground all year round in batches under green shed net houses using organic farming method. New sowing, harvesting and processing is done daily all year round. We take a single crop from each bed of wheat seedling.

In our tropical climate the Wheat Grass vegetable grows quickly, absorbs 92 out of 110 minerals from the soil and is ready to harvest in 7 – 10 days. We then harvest the ripe Wheatgrass vegetable by hand, chopping carefully one inch above the ground sort, wash, dehydrated in solar tunnel dryer and finally grind into fine Powder using a low intensity pulveriser machines.
The top soil layer (about 4 inch) from harvested beds is manually sliced and stacked aside for composting. The recycled fertile organic soil is then reused after 2 months for next seeding. This indigenous process refined by years of perfection ensures that maximum beneficial nutrients are retained in our Girme’s Wheatgrass Powder.
Moringa Oleifera farming:
is done in organic method using cow dung farm manure and drip irrigation at spacing of 54″ between laterals and 15″ between plants. Around 19000 Moringa plants per Ha. at our farms in dense plantation. Harvesting of ripe Moringa leaves in done almost every month by hand chopping, then washing and dehydrated in solar tunnel dryer. Moringa Leaves Dried are packed 10 Kg per air tight poly bags and stored for sale or conversion to Moringa Leaves TBC or Moringa Leaves Powder.
Butterfly Pea Flowers (Aparajita – Blue Tea) farming:

is done by allowing the vines to climb on vertical net support structure to increase yield and make it easy to harvest. The fresh flowers of Butterfly Pea are harvest daily by carefully hand picked, sorted and spread on shelf in solar tunnel drying house for dehydration. The dried flowers of Butterfly Pea are then collected, checked for any containment and packed in jars or stored in air tight poly bags.

Fresh product is packed in small cartons as per daily orders and sent by courier all over India and exported to many countries worldwide.
